Parks Safety Net Program

Testimonials

Martha W. ~ Mercer Island memorial bench:

"The bench is in, the plaque is on and it has been very well received.  School kids climb all over it, bikers and walkers use it to rest and it has been all that we hoped."

Daryl Faber, Director, City of Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation:

"The City of Auburn is fortunate to have Parks Safety Net in place with Northwest Parks Foundation to facilitate the support of parks, trails, playfields, events, and programs that help contribute to active, healthy lifestyles in Auburn.  Since 2005, the City has used the PSN to help build a Veterans Memorial building, construct a spray park, fund computers for the Auburn Senior Activity Center, bring a Vietnam Veterans Traveling Wall Memorial to the City of Auburn, and raise funds for a barrier-free playground."
